Quality Control Inspector Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation | Beaver Dam, WI Full-Time | Hourly Position Build Quality Into Every Product Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. As an employee-owner, you will play a critical role in ensuring that raw materials, fabricated components, weldments, and finished equipment meet the highest quality standards before reaching our customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work, blueprint reading, and helping maintain world-class quality standards in a custom stainless steel manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased components to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements Inspect fabricated parts, weldments, and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process Perform final inspections on completed equipment before shipment Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools Review parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements Verify hydrostatic and leak test results for compliance with project specifications Identify and communicate quality concerns, discrepancies, and non-conformances to Operations and Engineering Conduct process audits throughout the facility and review quality documentation Ensure products meet Apache quality standards and applicable code requirements Maintain quality records, inspection reports, receiving reports, and quality checklists Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality excellence across the organization Exercise authority to stop shipment of products that do not meet customer or quality standards QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Several years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment Experience inspecting fabricated stainless steel equipment, weldments, or industrial components Knowledge of quality systems, inspections, audits, and documentation processes Experience working with ASME codes and standards Welding inspection experience or familiarity with weld quality requirements What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude Problem-solving mindset High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions Team player who collaborates effectively with production, engineering, and operations teams Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
