This position plays a vital role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and
ISO 9001
2015 quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. If you have a strong eye for detail, excellent blueprint reading skills, and enjoy solving quality challenges, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on production and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Inspect manufactured components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality requirements Perform in-process and first article inspections using a variety of precision measurement tools Verify manufacturing processes comply with
ISO 9001
2015 standards and internal quality procedures Interpret complex blueprints and weld symbols to verify product conformance Perform weld inspections in accordance with applicable codes and standards Initiate and monitor Internal Reject Reports (IRRs) Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processes Conduct internal quality system and process audits Collect, document, and maintain accurate inspection data and quality records Maintain inspection logs, reports, and required documentation Support manufacturing operations by responding quickly to quality-related issues Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned Follow all company safety policies and workplace procedures Qualifications Minimum two years of weld inspection experience required Five years of Quality Assurance experience preferred Two or more years of fabrication and machining industry experience required Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and weld symbol interpretation Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Experience using a full range of Quality Assurance measuring equipment Knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials Computer proficiency and strong documentation skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently Experience with PC-DMIS software and Hexagon Romer Arm CMMs preferred Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification strongly preferred Knowledge of
ISO 9001
