Job Description

Quality Technician Value Added Distributors has an immediate opening for a Quality Technician responsible for inspection, compliance monitoring, quality investigations, auditing, and technical documentation. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with inspection equipment, engineering drawings, quality management systems, and structured problem-solving techniques. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Employer Matching Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Additional Company Benefits Key Duties Perform dimensional inspections utilizing calipers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) Validate incoming materials and maintain traceability records Conduct process audits and manufacturing floor assessments Document quality issues, investigations, corrective actions, and resolutions Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Generate reports and maintain quality records Complete customer-required PPAP documentation Interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications Support
ISO 9001
compliance and internal audit activities Coordinate calibration of inspection and measurement equipment Perform fluid cleanliness testing using specialized laboratory equipment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of quality, inspection, quality assurance, or quality control experience Experience with measurement and inspection equipment Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents Root cause analysis and corrective action experience Strong communication and documentation skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% Preferred Qualifications Experience with
ISO 9001
2015 Internal auditing experience PPAP experience Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and Quality Core Tools Calibration program management experience
