Job Description
Morrison's Auto is hiring a Quality Control person in Edgerton, WI. The Quality Control position is responsible for inspecting automotive parts after they have been dismantled to make sure the parts are in the condition described, properly identified, and ready to be sold or shipped to customers. Responsibilities Inspect automotive parts for quality, condition, and damage Verify that parts match the description and information entered into inventory Identify missing, damaged, or incorrectly inventoried parts Communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team members Clean and prepare parts for sale or shipment Make sure parts are properly packaged and protected for shipping Assist with organizing and preparing parts for delivery or shipment Load parts and materials as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company quality and safety procedures Perform other duties as needed Requirements Automotive experience preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to identify automotive parts and recognize damage or quality issues Good understanding of vehicles and automotive components Able to work independently and make decisions regarding part quality Good communication skills Basic computer skills Dependable and able to work efficiently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Pay $17-22 per hour, depending on experience Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance after 90 days 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Physical Requirements This is a physically active position. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday. Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
