The Quality Inspector helps ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while learning and supporting the team's continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products for compliance with specifications and requirements
  • Record inspection data, test results, and audit documentation accurately and on time
  • Report defects, quality concerns, and trends to the QA Manager
  • Assist with investigations of quality issues and support corrective action follow-up
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to flag and resolve quality concerns
  • Follow established quality procedures and help identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Participate in daily and weekly QA meetings
  • Support a positive, safe, and productive work environment
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately, safely, and on time
  • Monitor lab and inspection supplies and report needs to the QA Manager
  • Learn to use inspection tools, gauges, and quality software as part of on-the-job training What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a technical or quality field a plus
  • 1-2 years of quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, or willingness to learn
  • Comfortable using basic inspection tools (calipers, gauges) or willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with quality concepts (ISO 9001, Lean, root cause analysis) a plus, not required
