Overview:
Performs light assembly before conducting in-process quality inspections, checks, and tests during product manufacturing. Records inspection results using both hard-copy and electronic systems. Also performs paint line duties, including operating a hoist, installing components, banding pallets, light assembly, and cleaning and maintaining the work area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all lug load operations (component installation and torquing, product load testing, thread measurement)
- Understand visual inspection criteria and make accept/reject decisions
- Perform general paint line duties
Requirements:
- Ability to read a digital caliper and other measuring devices
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail
- Good vision (corrective lenses acceptable)
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to take on additional work as needed
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude with the ability to work overtime as needed
Environment/Safety:
- Warm during summer months comfortable temperature during winter months
- Clean environment, with occasional dust
- Industrial equipment in use throughout the facility
- Safety glasses and slip resistant shoes required
- Noise level low to moderate
