About your new role:
Monitor product quality per internal and customer requirements. Assure that only quality product is received by the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dimension and visually inspect production parts and retain samples on routine intervals. When required, enter inspection results into SPC program. Take appropriate action based on information. Revise data configuration and add/remove jobs from toolbar in Infinity QS. Inspect first piece production parts. Document results. Report information to manufacturing. Audit current production, rework, secondary operations, and white mod. Assemble and verify PDS samples. Review job information for current production. Dimension process capability parts when required. Communicate out of spec. or out of control problems to manufacturing. Verify correction of problems. Perform incoming material inspections. Approve carton label information. Approve production runs based on analysis of inspection data. Dimension pilot parts and inform Product Development of any discrepancies Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on Quality Assurance/Quality Control (required) Strong mathematical aptitude High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficient computer skills with a solid understanding of computer systems Effective verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) terminology and methods Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Your hours: 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, with occasional mandatory Fridays What you'll receive: As a full-time Prent employee you'll be competitively compensated , based on experience.
