Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Inspector Job Description The Quality Inspector performs incoming and final inspections on industrial components using precision measuring tools and documented inspection processes. This role ensures that all products meet established quality standards by accurately measuring parts, interpreting blueprints, and recording inspection results in computer systems or on written forms. Responsibilities Perform incoming and final quality inspections on components and finished products. Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other hand tools to take precise measurements and verify product dimensions. Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to determine required specifications and tolerances. Document inspection results accurately in a computer system and, when required, on written forms. Identify non-conforming materials and products and prepare clear, detailed non-conforming material reports. Communicate inspection findings to production team to support corrective actions. Maintain inspection tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work area in the quality department and across the shop floor. Essential Skills Ability to accurately read and use micrometers for precision measurement. Ability to accurately read and use calipers to verify dimensions. Ability to read and use gauges and tape measures for various inspection tasks. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using basic computer systems to enter and manage inspection data. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and accuracy. Work Environment We are hiring for standard 1st and 2nd shift shifts as well as 12 hour night shifts. Environment varies from heavy industrial manufacturing to a clean room medical device. Pay Range $20-$25/HR depending on experience and shift availability Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
