Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Lake Mills, WI | $24-$28/hour | Monday-Thursday Looking for a quality position where your attention to detail makes a difference AND you get three-day weekends? A growing precision manufacturer is hiring a Quality Technician to join its day-shift team. You'll inspect precision-manufactured components, identify potential quality issues, and work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high manufacturing standards. Whether you have experience in quality inspection or a CNC machining background with strong inspection skills, we'd like to hear from you!
Quality Technician Benefits and Compensation:
$24-$28/hour, based on experience
First Shift:

Quality Technician Requirements & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Hands-on quality inspection experience or comparable precision manufacturing experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional specifications Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills, including decimals Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams
Must Haves:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components. Identify out-of-tolerance parts and document nonconforming products before they move forward in production. Select appropriate measuring equipment and verify calibration status. Accurately record measurements, inspection results, and accepted or rejected quantities. Follow established inspection procedures and maintain accurate quality documentation. Consistently work the Monday-Thursday first-shift schedule.
Quality Technician Preferred Background & Skills:
Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, CNC Machinist, or CMM Operator Hands-on CMM operating experience Working knowledge of GD&T Experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined components Background in medical device, aerospace, or precision manufacturing Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, or AS9100 quality standards Experience with corrective actions, nonconforming product documentation, or continuous improvement initiatives
What Success Looks Like:
You'll become a dependable member of the quality team who accurately inspects components, catches potential defects early, maintains detailed inspection records, and communicates effectively with production. You don't need to have every preferred qualification. Candidates with strong manufacturing inspection fundamentals and a willingness to develop additional quality skills are encouraged to apply.
Additional Position Information:
This position does not include relocation assistance. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Lake Mills, WI 53551. This is a direct-hire position. Third-party staffing, subcontracting, and Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements will not be considered. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
