You will play a key role in ensuring product integrity through root cause analysis and collaborative problem-solving, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive quality audits and First Piece Inspections to ensure adherence to strict technical specifications. Manage nonconforming materials by implementing containment protocols and coordinating with production teams to resolve issues. Validate the accuracy of measurement tools, including calipers and micrometers, to ensure reliable data collection. Drive corrective action initiatives by utilizing methodologies like 5-Why to address internal KPIs and customer feedback. Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel regarding quality procedures and updated work instructions. Maintain shop floor inspection systems and automated equipment to ensure peak operational performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into Control Plans and PFMEA documentation. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including the consistent use of PPE and adherence to industrial hygiene protocols. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications. Strong grasp of basic statistics and mathematical concepts for data analysis. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and maintain physical activity throughout a shift. Solid verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration. Preferred Skills Prior experience with precision measurement equipment and gauges. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
quality management systems. Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and lead problem-solving projects. Basic computer literacy, specifically with Windows-based software applications.
