Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00

AM Overtime:

Fridays as needed when production is operating

Pay:

$17.00/hour + weekly bonus opportunity of up to $1.00/hour

Job Summary FurstStaffing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to help ensure plant operations and products consistently meet internal procedures, quality standards, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor production practices and ensure proper GMPs are followed. Inspect in-process and finished products for quality and compliance. Perform pre-operational equipment inspections for cleanliness. Document and report quality issues and holds. Review COAs and perform product testing, including residual oxygen testing. Manage product retains and complete pre-shipment reviews. Perform equipment calibrations and maintain product attribute records. Conduct security, storage, and quality verifications. Prepare samples for external laboratory testing. Assist with department training and environmental swabbing. Prepare and provide COAs to customers. Perform quality audits, inspections, and other assigned projects. Assist with maintaining accurate and current product specifications.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Ability to follow detailed and complex instructions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic computer and email skills. Previous quality control or food manufacturing experience is a plus.
