7:00pm - 7:00am; 2-2-3 schedule This position will train on 1st shift before moving to the PM schedule. Position Summary The Quality Assurance Technician helps maintain and support the Quality Management System to ensure that customers receive the highest quality products that meet or exceed expectations. This role performs inspections, verifies documentation, maintains quality records, and assists in ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards. Key Responsibilities Inspection and Testing Monitor production processes and perform in-process and final product inspections. Conduct first article inspections and prepare reports. Verify retain samples meet requirements and maintain approved samples and mating parts. Documentation and Records Review and approve inspection documents. Create and maintain quality plan documentation and binders. Maintain accurate inspection records and reports. Equipment and Tools Verify, calibrate, and maintain inspection devices and equipment. Organize and maintain the Quality Control Lab. Non-Conformance and Corrective Action Manage and process non-conforming product, including inspection and sorting of on-hold items. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions as directed. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality. Communicate inspection findings and provide recommendations for improvements. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or quality assurance experience preferred. Associate's degree in Quality Assurance or ASQ Quality Technician certification a plus. Strong math skills and ability to read/interpret engineering drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with inspection devices and equipment. Forklift operation experience preferred. Personal Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Organized, reliable, and committed to quality standards. Physical Demands This position requires light to moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Regularly requires standing, sitting, reaching, and moving about the facility. Eye, ear, and footwear protection are required in designated areas. Experience Required 1 year(s): Manufacturing or quality assurance experience.
