About the
Role:
The Quality Technician plays a critical role in supporting quality assurance and quality control processes within a manufacturing environment. This position focuses on inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet established standards and specifications. Ideal for candidates seeking roles such as Quality Control Technician, QA Technician, or Manufacturing Quality Specialist, this position emphasizes precision, compliance, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final product inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges Conduct quality audits and document inspection results in accordance with quality management systems Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product conformance Identify nonconforming materials and initiate corrective action processes Support root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and inspection documentation Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality proceduresQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification in quality or manufacturing preferred Experience in quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing environments Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and basic quality systems Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and quality documentationDesired Qualifications:
Associate degree in manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field Experience with statistical process control, root cause analysis, or corrective action methodologies Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices Experience using quality management software or ERP systems Certification such as Certified Quality Technician or similar credentialsSimilar remote jobs
