Maybe the documentation doesn't support the scope. A carrier requirement was missed. Something is going to get kicked back. Or there's simply a better way to write it. You catch it because you understand restoration—not just the software. Paul Davis Restoration is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to review estimates and claim files across our Mitigation, Contents, and Reconstruction teams. You'll help catch issues before they become delays, rework, or scorecard problems—and help our Estimators understand how to get it right the first time. What You'll Do Review & Quality Control Review estimates and claim documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency Identify missing documentation, estimating discrepancies, and potential compliance issues Review Mitigation, Contents, and Reconstruction files using Xactimate/XactAnalysis and other industry platforms Carrier & TPA Compliance Learn and apply carrier guidelines, TPA requirements, SLAs, and scorecard expectations Ensure files meet program-specific estimating and documentation standards Help resolve questions or discrepancies with carriers, TPAs, and internal teams Estimator Support Work directly with Estimators when corrections or additional documentation are needed Explain the why behind carrier requirements and estimating expectations Provide constructive feedback and serve as a technical resource for the team Continuous Improvement Identify recurring estimating or documentation issues Recognize training opportunities and process gaps Help improve file quality, turnaround times, and overall performance What We're Looking For Experience in restoration, construction estimating, property claims, or a related field Strong knowledge of restoration estimating and documentation Experience with Xactimate/XactAnalysis or similar estimating and claims platforms Familiarity with water, fire, contents, mold, and/or reconstruction Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Confidence communicating feedback and working with multiple teams Experience with carrier/TPA programs, Symbility, MICA, QA Assist, or AskAIME is a plus Use Your Restoration Experience Differently Maybe you've been an Estimator, Project Manager, Claims Professional, or Restoration Specialist , but the part you really enjoy is analyzing the details, solving problems, and helping others improve.
