Job Description

La Casa de Esperanza - Weatherization Department La Casa de Esperanza is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer - QCI Certified to join our Weatherization team. This position is responsible for ensuring Weatherization work is completed safely, correctly, and in compliance with program requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct final, callback, and in-progress inspections of Weatherization projects.
  • Verify completed work meets the Energy Audit, program standards, specifications, and health and safety requirements.
  • Review project files and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify deficiencies and communicate required corrective actions.
  • Verify corrective work has been completed properly.
  • Document inspection findings with written reports and photographs.
  • Work with Energy Auditors, Installers, Crew Chiefs, contractors, and management to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in State of WI (DEHCR) and other program quality assurance inspections.
  • Identify recurring quality issues and assist with training and continuous improvement.
  • Provide professional customer service to homeowners and contractors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current QCI (Quality Control Inspector) certification required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Weatherization, residential construction, energy auditing, building performance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building science, Weatherization practices, and health and safety requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound professional judgments.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential construction environments.
Pay:
$36.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
