Job Description

Quality Inspector Shift:

2nd, (Hours May Vary)

Pay:

$17/hr. (Based on experience) In this role, you'll inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. If you have manufacturing quality experience and enjoy problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you.

Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, appearance, paint thickness, welding, and blast profile.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.

Complete inspection reports, damage reports, rework documentation, and other quality records.

Identify quality issues and route products for rework when necessary.

Assist in investigating quality concerns and determining root causes.

Communicate quality deviations to production and plant leadership.

Verify products are packaged correctly to prevent shipping damage.

Recommend improvements to quality, production, and safety processes.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualification:

Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Manufacturing or product testing experience preferred.

Associate degree preferred.

MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) certification is a plus.

Ability to read blueprints and interpret customer specifications.

Familiarity with ASTM standards is preferred.

Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, microscopes, and other measuring equipment.
