Job Description Rewind Machine Operator Schedule:

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30

PM Pay:

17/HR - 20/

Paid Holidays, PTO, and Health Benefits after 90 days Qualified Candidates Will Possess Good mechanical ability Superior troubleshooting skills Strong math skills, including measurements, percentages, and figuring footage Detail-oriented Problem solver Self-starter Visual color comprehension Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up the rewind machine to cut and rewind specific counts per customer order. Run orders, fill out and apply case/core labels to identify orders, and stack orders on pallets. Check rolls while running for misprinting and report errors to the press operator and supervisor. Cut out "bad" labels on rolls and splice rolls. Clean the rewinding machine as needed. Accurately operate a high-speed machine to cut, count, and wind rolls to customer specifications. Remove labels that are wrinkled, out of register, or have other defects before labels are cut, wrapped, or stacked. Understand the computer system to produce outer carton labels and place them on the appropriate boxes for the production run, quantity, and product. Place the outer product label on the corresponding box. Ensure the correct labels are placed in the right box without mixing up labels. Understand and follow all customer specifications and SOPs for boxing production jobs. Perform other duties as assigned.
