G&H Marine Canvas Inc. is looking for a dependable, motivated Shop Helper / CNC Operator Trainee to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. No CNC or marine canvas experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable with computers and technology, and wants to learn a skilled trade with opportunities for advancement. The right candidate will begin by assisting our production team and gradually receive hands-on training in our CNC cutting and design process used to manufacture custom marine canvas, yacht covers, enclosures, awnings, cushions, upholstery, and other custom products. Responsibilities

• Assist the production and CNC departments with daily operations
• Prepare, move, organize, and identify fabrics and materials
• Help load and position materials on CNC equipment
• Assist with cutting and production preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn proper measuring and material-handling procedures
• Learn how to safely operate CNC equipment
• Learn basic digital design and CNC production workflow
• Follow instructions, drawings, measurements, and production specifications
• Assist other departments when necessary
