Who We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator/ Seamstress to join our production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing position, and previous experience operating industrial or commercial sewing machines is required . This is not an entry-level sewing position. Our operators work with different materials and garment components throughout the day. The position requires upper-body strength and physical endurance to handle materials, control garments while sewing, and maintain a consistent production pace throughout the shift. We are looking for someone who can follow work orders and specifications accurately while maintaining consistent quality and productivity. Experience with binding, garment construction, and different industrial sewing techniques is a plus. All candidates will complete a hands-on sewing machine test as part of the hiring process. What You Will Do Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently. Sew and assemble different components of protective apparel according to product specifications. Attach Velcro, buckles, straps, trim, and other garment components as required. Perform binding and other sewing techniques depending on the product. Review work orders and verify specifications before and during production. Follow patterns, measurements, custom sizing instructions, and sewing specifications accurately. Inspect your work to identify sewing errors, defects, or inconsistencies. Maintain consistent stitching and high-quality workmanship. Maintain an appropriate production pace while meeting quality standards. Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe. Communicate with supervisors when there are questions regarding an order, materials, or specifications. Work collaboratively with the production team to complete customer orders accurately and on time. What You Need Previous industrial or commercial sewing machine experience — required. Experience in garment manufacturing or production sewing strongly preferred. Binding experience is a plus. Ability to work with different materials, garment components, and sewing techniques. Upper-body strength and physical endurance to handle materials and garments throughout the production shift. Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and custom sizing instructions. Good hand-eye coordination and sewing machine control. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to maintain productivity and consistent workmanship throughout the shift. Ability to work effectively as part of a production team. Willingness to complete a hands-on sewing machine skills test during the hiring process.
