Schedule:

All Shifts Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training in sewing, garment manufacturing, upholstery, leather work, or repair-related fields is a plus. Ability to read and follow written repair instructions, work orders, and quality standards. Experience Requirements Previous sewing, alterations, upholstery, manufacturing repair, leather goods repair, or similar hands-on experience preferred. Experience using industrial sewing machines, hand tools, and power tools is beneficial. Basic measuring, marking, cutting, and assembly skills required. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality expectations. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship excellence. Ability to inspect products, identify defects, and determine appropriate repair methods. Experience replacing zippers, straps, handles, hardware, and other product components. Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate repair equipment and tools. Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new repair techniques. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to remain seated for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers for sewing, assembling, measuring, cutting, and repairing products. Ability to perform repetitive motions while maintaining quality and accuracy. Ability to visually inspect products and completed repairs for defects and quality standards. Job Duties Repair and restore bags, luggage, and related products to established quality standards. Review repair tickets and follow detailed repair instructions for each item. Operate industrial sewing machines and other repair equipment to complete repairs. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble products while preserving original construction and design. Measure, mark, cut, and install replacement materials, panels, zippers, straps, handles, and hardware. Replace damaged components, including zipper sliders, corner guards, webbing, and carrying handles. Use hand and power tools safely to complete product repairs and modifications. Inspect completed repairs to ensure accuracy, durability, and compliance with quality requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Meet daily productivity goals while consistently delivering high-quality workmanship.
