We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. Position Summary The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating industrial sewing equipment to fabricate and assemble filter components and other textile-based products. The ideal candidate has sewing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow specifications and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and manufacture filtration products and related materials. Select appropriate thread, needles, and machine settings for assigned work. Cut, sew, and assemble fabric and other materials according to production specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards. Replace needles, thread machines, and perform routine machine adjustments. Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or production concerns. Keep work area clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety policies and production procedures. Assist with other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous sewing machine experience required; industrial sewing experience preferred. Experience operating home sewing machines will be considered. Ability to read and follow work instructions, patterns, measurements, and specifications. Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor machine adjustments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with industrial textiles, filtration products, or similar sewn products. Ability to use measuring tools and follow quality control procedures.
