Job Description
We are looking to fill commercial sewing machine operator positions. It's generally an 8 hour shift from 5am to 1:30pm. Overtime is available occasionally as needed. The job entails sewing vinyl for seats. Looking for people experienced in making RV seats, specifically Captain chairs. Paid vacation time after one year of employment. After 30 days you will qualify for an attendance bonus of $1.00 / hour, and paid holidays. After 60 days we offer Vision, Dental, and Medical insurance. The company pays 50% of your medical insurance. Innovative Designs is a clean, safe, friendly environment to work in. We pride ourselves on relying on each other for efficiency and it shows. Responsibilities Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated sewing machines Inspect parts with measuring tools Fix issues that might occur during the shift Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Maintain activity logs Skills Proven experience as a sewing machine operator Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.) Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina
