Job Description
Job Overview Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for a dependable, self-motivated individual with strong industrial sewing experience and the ability to read blueprints and work with a variety of materials and patterns. The successful candidate will operate industrial sewing machines, assemble and sew dinettes according to specifications, and play a key role in maintaining quality standards. This position also offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role and eventually manage the sewing department. Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and sewing patterns. Sew and assemble dinettes according to customer and production specifications. Work with a variety of materials while ensuring accurate measurements and quality workmanship. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Assist with training and supporting new team members as needed. Demonstrate leadership potential with the opportunity to eventually oversee the sewing department. Qualifications 5+ years of industrial sewing experience required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings. Experience working with different fabrics, materials, and sewing patterns. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Leadership experience or the desire to grow into a supervisory role is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds . Frequent standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive hand movements. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment for the duration of the shift. Why Join Us?
