•3:30 PM Sewing Machine Operator Requirements Previous sewing, hemming, or garment alteration experience preferred Experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred Ability to measure, cut, pin, and sew a variety of fabrics accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills for measuring and fabric calculations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Key Responsibilities Operate high-speed industrial sewing machines using a variety of fabric types, including cotton, rayon, polyester, and wool Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces according to specifications Perform garment alterations and made-to-measure sewing based on customer requirements Press finished garments using hand irons or pressing equipment Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain sewing machines to ensure proper operation and report maintenance needs as necessary Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Perform additional production and sewing duties as assigned About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is hiring Sewing Machine Operators for a direct hire opportunity in Hodgenville, KY.
