Nesco Resource has openings in the Hodgenville area for a Sewing Machine Operator. 1st shift Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM.

Position Summary:

The Sewing Machine Operators will assemble uniform apparel. They will operate high-speed industrial sewing machines that stitch clothing parts into individual garments or will perform a manual task involved in the final details of our garments.

Responsibilities:

Operate a high-speed industrial sewing machine using a variety of materials, e.g., cotton, rayon, polyester and wool or combination of fabric contents. Measure, cut, pin, and sew fabric pieces. Fit, alter, and make made-to-measure clothing according to customers' specifications and guidelines. Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines. Follow verbal and/or written instructions. Maintains sewing machine to ensure proper working order. Keeps working area clean and orderly. This job description in no way implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
