Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. This position involves operating commercial and industrial sewing machines and working with a variety of fabrics and materials. What You'll Do Operate commercial and industrial sewing machines. Sew a variety of materials, including nylon and canvas. Perform straight, zigzag, and serger stitches. Follow patterns, written instructions, and samples. Measure materials using U.S. fractions and decimals. Inspect your work and pay close attention to small details. Follow safety procedures and keep your work area safe. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of sewing or related experience preferred. Experience using commercial or industrial sewing machines. Ability to work from patterns and samples. Comfortable with different types of stitches and fabrics. Basic understanding of U.S. measurements, including fractions and decimals. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision. Physical Requirements Good hand and eye coordination. Ability to handle and move fabric through a sewing machine. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Ability to see and work with small details for extended periods. Work Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. Safety glasses are required and provided if needed.
