Job Description

Job Summary Plaza Lanes is seeking an experienced and dependable Brunswick A2 Pinsetter Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize the performance of our bowling equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping pinsetters operating safely and efficiently to provide an outstanding experience for our guests. Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on Brunswick A2 pinsetters. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, physical lane issues. Respond quickly to machine calls and minimize lane downtime. Adjust, rebuild, and replace worn or damaged machine components. Perform pinsetter and Lane machine overhauls and scheduled maintenance. Maintain lane equipment including ball returns, lifts, Scoring Systems, and conveyor systems. Troubleshoot scoring equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary. Keep the mechanic's area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts. Maintain maintenance logs and document repairs performed. Follow all safety procedures Assist with general facility maintenance as needed. Qualifications Experience working on Brunswick A2 Pinsetters And QubicaAMF Scoring Systems preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment. Basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Comfortable climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability as required. Preferred Qualifications Previous bowling center experience experience is a plus. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Experience with QubicaAMF scoring systems is a plus. General building maintenance experience is a plus. Formal Training from a reputable Pinsetter school is a plus. Previous KEGEL Lane machine experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and parts. Bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work overhead. Work in a fast-paced environment while responding to machine issues.
