1st and 2nd shifts available. All experience levels welcomed to apply!! Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Die Setter - Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various metal fabrication machinery to ensure efficient production of high-quality components. Your expertise in machine operation, technical interpretation, and safety standards will be essential in maintaining smooth workflow and product precision. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC equipment, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including press brakes, stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, and electrical discharge machining tools. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math to accurately configure machines for production runs. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Conduct precision measurements using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools to verify component dimensions and adherence to specifications. Program CNC machines for complex machining tasks such as laser cutting, plasma cutting, and CNC milling operations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during machine setup, operation, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and uphold quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production data, and inspection results for quality control purposes. Assist in training new operators on machine operation procedures and safety standards. Support the assembly process by preparing sheet metal components with hand tools and forming machines as needed. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as press brakes, stamping presses, CNC laser cutters, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, electrical discharge machining tools, and forming machines. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Proficiency in CNC programming and setup for various machining operations. Familiarity with measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments for quality control. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to perform shop math accurately for machining calculations. Experience with sheet metal fabrication processes including forming, welding, and assembly. Basic understanding of electrical systems related to machine operation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
