Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple experienced Joiner 1st Class professionals for contract opportunities in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled shipbuilding team supporting the construction, installation, and outfitting of marine structures and interiors. Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, and deck structures Install and mount furniture, racks, bins, partition bulkheads, decorative ceilings, false decks, and other outfitting components Read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and drawings Perform quality workmanship while adhering to safety and production standards Support shipboard construction and repair activities as required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Joiner or related craft experience in: Shipfitting Carpentry Sheet Metal High School Diploma or Master Tech Certification Ability to pass the Tacker Certification Test Strong knowledge of shipboard outfitting, installation, and fabrication techniques Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Why Apply? Pay:
