Operations Manager Preliminary FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt Summary Responsible to complete stitch work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with other team members as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lifts, pins, and sews a variety of fabric types. Works with sewing machines and other equipment. Experience with industrial sewing machines required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or verbal instructions. Uses production management software to track completion of steps in a timely manner. Responsible for completing projects on milestone. Takes initiative to find solutions and utilize available resources to solve problems. Inspects fabrics prior to sewing for fabric flaws, print flaws, and correct output. Assists other team members as needed. Availability to work overtime as required including weekend shifts as needed. Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Understanding of quality stitching and ability to see flaws.
