Summary of Position:

Operate Juki Single Needle sewing machines to join parts of fabricated articles.

Essential Functions:

Complete products working with a variety of materials Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of project Position materials under needle Guides parts of product to be joined under the foot of the sewing machines and operates the machine using a foot pedal Operator is responsible for maintaining the machine and following quality specifications for the product Observes stitching to detect defects and notifies supervisor of any machine malfunctions Ensure that excess material or threads are cut away from the finished product Examine finished garments for compliance Competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities) : Must be able to understand and comply with verbal instructions Basic reading and writing skills High attention to detail Ability to be reliable and dependable Ability to be a team player Time management skills Ability to be professional Good work ethic
