Job Description

Job Overview The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing Abram's Nation products, following product specifications, and cleaning the equipment and production area as assigned. The industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible to complete products in a timely manner to meet company standards and production quotas.
Duties Operating Industrial Sewing Machines:
Sewing materials together, with industrial strength machines, to create finished products.
Material Handling:
preparing and organizing materials like fabrics, thread, and other supplies.
Quality Control:
Inspecting seams, stitching, and finished products for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to safety, quality control, and product specifications.
Machine Maintenance:
Basic machine maintenance, including oiling, changing needles, and adjusting tension.
Workstation Maintenance:
Keeping their workstation clean, organized, and safe..
Productivity and Efficiency:
Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly productivity goals and working efficiently to maintain production schedules to meet deadlines.
Collaboration:
Working collaboratively with other team members and supervisors. Communicating effectively. Ability to learn how to read and understand work orders Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Demonstrated experience in sewing, preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment 1-3 years Mechanical aptitude is a plus Google workspace is a plus
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
