In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textile and upholstery products. Your expertise in seam construction, fabric handling, and machine operation will ensure that our products meet strict quality standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced production environment where precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship are valued. Duties Operate industrial sewing machines, including serging and embroidery equipment, to assemble and finish products according to specifications. Measure fabric materials and finished items using measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions and adherence to quality standards. Perform manual fabric cutting and materials handling to prepare components for sewing processes. Construct seams with precision, ensuring proper seam construction techniques are followed for durability and aesthetic appeal. Monitor sewing machine operation continuously, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance and product quality. Conduct dimensional measurements throughout the production process to verify product consistency and compliance with design specifications. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper machine setup, maintenance, and use of protective equipment. Requirements Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines or similar manufacturing equipment in a production setting. Strong understanding of canvas sewing, upholstery, seam construction, and canvas t assembly techniques. Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards in production environments. Knowledge of fabric materials, materials handling, and garment construction processes. Ability to perform manual cutting of fabrics accurately and efficiently. Experience with sewing machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety standards in production. Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with materials storage and inventory management.
