Commando is looking for an experienced Production Sewer to produce high-quality finished garments and prototype samples that meet our standards for fit, construction, quality, and craftsmanship. This role supports both production and product development through skilled sewing, garment construction, and finishing techniques. The ideal candidate has strong industrial sewing experience, excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct finished garments according to established specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. Sew prototype, development, and sample garments to support Design, Product Development, and Research & Development initiatives. Operate industrial sewing equipment, including single-needle and overlock machines, safely and efficiently. Apply garment finishing techniques, including heat seals, appliqués, crystals, and other embellishments as required. Inspect garments throughout the sewing process to ensure construction accuracy and adherence to quality expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, sample creation, and manufacturing objectives. Assist in identifying construction improvements and process efficiencies that support product quality and operational effectiveness. Support fulfillment operations and order processing during periods of increased business demand.

Qualifications:

Experience sewing knit garments using industrial sewing equipment, including single-needle and overlock machines. Strong understanding of garment construction techniques, sewing methods, and quality standards. Ability to interpret specifications, sample instructions, and construction requirements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Clear verbal communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production and development setting.
