Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise sewing and fabric assembly tasks that contribute to the production of high-quality industrial products. Your expertise in materials handling, and industrial sewing machine operation will ensure that our loading dock seals & shelters meet strict quality standards. Responsibilities Measure all parts to ensure they match the order packet in regards to customer specifications and accessories (logos, types of pleats,ect) Sew patterned parts using an industrial sewing machine. Align patterned parts accurately for sewing. Match thread according to customer specifications, including selecting the appropriate type of thread based on the material being sewn Accurately follow seams, edges, and markings on patterns to ensure precise alignment and trim excess threads and edges of pieces for a clean, finished appearance Sew and finish seals, ensuring they are turned right-side out after completion Maintain a clean and safe work enviroment Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group's and Multi-Fab's reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Skills Proficiency with measuring instruments and understanding of dimensional measurements for fabric and product components Strong knowledge of quality standards in production, including fabric materials, seam construction, and sewing techniques Experience operating various sewing machines such as industrial sewing machines, Ability to handle heavy duty materials including vinyl fabrics and other textile materials with care and precision Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and promote a secure workspace Knowledge of sewing machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs as needed Join us as an Industrial Sewer if you're passionate about craftsmanship, committed to quality work, and eager to contribute your skills within a vibrant manufacturing team. $20.00 - $21.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
