Job Title:

Certified Boiler Operator Job Description The role involves the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure boilers and auxiliary systems. You will be responsible for monitoring gauges, conducting safety tests, and ensuring compliance with California safety regulations, including Cal/OSHA. The position also requires the operation of a stand-up forklift and the performance of preventative maintenance on conveyers and slicing and bagging machines used in meat processing. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers, hot water boilers, and related equipment such as pumps, valves, and burners to provide continuous heating or processing power. Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on boiler systems, including cleaning and replacing parts. Perform preventative maintenance on conveyers and slicing and bagging machines. Test and treat boiler water to prevent corrosion and scale buildup. Perform daily inspections and safety tests. Manage Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures. Essential Skills Active C-4 License Boiler operation and maintenance Forklift operation Boiler Certification Maintenance Technician experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with freezers and cold storage Ability to lift up to 90lbs USDA regulations knowledge Why Work Here?
