Shifts will be 10-12-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40-60 hours/week)

Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Boiler Plant Operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of boilers and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of boiler systems, steam generation, and plant operations, with a commitment to safety, reliability, and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, pumps, and auxiliary plant equipment Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient plant operations Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels to detect and troubleshoot issues Record operational data and complete daily logs and reports Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazard control protocols Support maintenance shutdowns and respond to emergency situations as needed Work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to resolve equipment issues
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating and maintaining boilers in an industrial or commercial setting Knowledge of boiler systems, pumps, and auxiliary plant equipment Familiarity with safety standards and procedures (e.g., OSHA, lockout/tagout) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and gauges Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team Boiler Operator's License or certification (required or preferred, depending on state regulations)
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required
