August 14, 2026 : Job Summary We are seeking a skilled professional with a Maryland 1st Grade operator license to join our team in Aberdeen, MD. This role involves collaboration within a team on rotating shift schedules as necessary. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts to oversee various aspects of system operation. Adjust controls as needed to ensure safe and efficient system operation and meet service demands. Record system parameters on log sheets and ensure proper equipment operation. Maintain machinery and equipment within the system in good working order. Potentially supervise and coordinate activities of other workers involved in tasks directly related to system operation and maintenance. Maintain a Daily Operations Log and perform routine maintenance according to applicable O&M Manuals for the boilers. Other on-site duties may be assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in centrifugal chiller operations and central utility plant operations. Experience standing watch in the Chill Water Plant is required. License & Certifications A valid Maryland Class 1 stationary engineer's license is required. OSHA 10 training is advantageous. Shift & Schedule This position involves rotating shifts.
