Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Stationary Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex mechanical systems within our facility. This vital role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable functioning of industrial boilers, HVAC/R systems, building automation systems, and other mechanical equipment. As a Stationary Engineer, you will play a key part in maintaining optimal environmental conditions and supporting the overall safety and operational excellence of our infrastructure. Your expertise in mechanical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and system diagnostics will help us deliver seamless service while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Duties Operate and monitor high-pressure steam boilers, industrial boilers, and auxiliary equipment to ensure continuous operation in compliance with safety regulations. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems including HVAC/R units, pumps, valves, and piping. Interpret technical schematics, drawings, and control diagrams to troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems effectively. Conduct mechanical system repairs using welding techniques and other specialized tools to restore equipment functionality promptly. Maintain detailed logs of system operations, maintenance activities, and incident reports for compliance and record-keeping purposes. Diagnose engineering problems related to boiler mechanics and industrial equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with field service teams for troubleshooting complex issues on-site at various industrial facilities or customer locations. Requirements Proven experience working with industrial boilers, high-pressure steam systems, or large-scale mechanical equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, building automation systems (BAS), and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control system documentation accurately. Skilled in mechanical repairs including welding, pipe fitting, valve adjustments, and equipment calibration. Familiarity with boiler mechanics, boiler operation procedures, and safety protocols related to industrial boiler systems. Experience in industrial maintenance environments with a focus on troubleshooting engineering issues efficiently. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members during field service operations.
