Boiler Technician Trainee Express Employment Professionals | Local Manufacturing Facility Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Boiler Technician Trainee for a local company. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with heavy equipment experience who are looking to build a long-term career in power plant and boiler operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn all aspects of boiler and fuel-handling operations. Pay $24.62 per hour Job Duties Operate front-end loaders and conveyor controls to transport fuel to boilers Assist with the operation and maintenance of the hog fuel system Perform basic water chemistry testing Read and accurately log information from water meters, gauges, sight glasses, and other equipment Change water and air filters as needed Assist with repairs to boilers, piping, valves, gauges, and related equipment Monitor fuel inventories including wood chips, sawdust, shavings, and bark Report fuel conditions and operational concerns to the Power Plant Operator Follow all plant safety procedures and operating guidelines Qualifications Experience operating heavy equipment preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn boiler operations Ability to work rotating day and night shifts Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills Ability to work in an industrial environment and around moving equipment Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness Benefits of Working with Express Employment Professionals Weekly pay Dedicated recruiter support Evaluation-to-hire opportunity Medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefit options available Interested candidates are encouraged to apply today.
