Boiler Operator- Rotating
- Weekends The Boiler Operator inspects, cleans, fires and adjusts boilers to maintain generation of a continuous supply of steam.
Details Shift:
Rotating Schedule:
Saturday- Wednesday Saturday
- 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Sunday Monday
- 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Tuesday & Wednesday
- 3:00pm
- 11:00 pm
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum of two years' experience in the operation of steam boiler plant Must be available for weekends, evenings, nights, holidays, emergencies and scheduled work/outages Must adhere to and follow shift coverage proceduresFDNY G-91
Supervision of Natural Gas Co-generation System within 6 months of hireFDNY A-35
Air Compressors within 6 months of hireFDNY P-98
