Job Description Summary:
Conducts preventative maintenance and operates high pressure boilers to generate steam for heating and power generation.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
Inspects, cleans, lubricates, paints, and repairs high-pressure boilers and associated mechanical equipment using safe and efficient processes, adhering to all policies and procedures. Conducts regular inspections of the boiler and its components to identify and address any issues. Works with and schedules inspectors for annual shutdowns. Tests and conducts analyses of water quality and other associated equipment to maintain efficient operations of steam systems. Records and maintains accurate logs of boiler operations, including pressure, temperature, and fuel consumption. Cleans and maintains the boiler and its components to prevent corrosion and buildup of sediment and scale. Responds quickly and effectively to any emergencies or malfunctions that may occur during boiler operation.
Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Licensure Requirement:
State of Ohio High Pressure Boiler Operator License, required.

Three years of experience working with High Pressure Boilers, required. Experience with advance control systems, preferred.
