As a Furnace Operator, your responsibilities include monitoring furnace conditions, adjusting furnace temperature, ensuring the quality of materials processed, and adhering to all safety protocols. Duties and Responsibilities Operating and controlling furnace equipment to regulate temperature and pressure Monitoring and adjusting furnace settings to ensure optimal performance Feeding raw materials into the furnace and removing finished products Checking the quality of the melted material and finished products Performing routine maintenance and inspections on furnace equipment Always adhering to safety procedures and guidelines Documenting production and operational data for record-keeping purposes Reporting any mechanical issues or unusual occurrences to the supervisor Using tools and equipment to move materials in and out of the furnace Working with team members and other departments to ensure production goals are met Qualifications Ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy equipment Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical strength.
