Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Boiler Operator - Maintenance to join our team and ensure the safe, efficient operation of industrial boilers and related mechanical systems. Duties Operate and monitor high-pressure steam boilers and industrial boilers to ensure continuous, safe operation. Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on boiler systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC/R components, and building automation systems. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control system diagrams to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively. Perform boiler mechanics tasks such as welding, pipe fitting, and replacing worn or damaged parts to maintain optimal system performance. Diagnose complex problems using engineering troubleshooting techniques; implement corrective actions swiftly to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, safety checks, and incident reports. Collaborate with field service teams for troubleshooting industrial equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Experience Proven experience working with high-pressure steam boilers, industrial boilers, and mechanical systems repair in a maintenance or field service environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in boiler mechanics, HVAC/R systems, welding, and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS), industrial equipment maintenance, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical boiler troubleshooting and repair tasks efficiently under safety standards. Industrial mechanic experience preferred; candidates should possess excellent customer service skills for interacting with internal teams or external clients as needed.
