Job Description

Description:
Hayward Laboratories, Inc., manufacturer of Palmers personal care products, is seeking a new position of Maintenance Utility Operator (2nd Shift) to join our Maintenance team. Will primarily be responsible for operation, monitoring, maintenance, and documentation of facility utility systems, ancillary equipment, and related buildings and grounds.
Requirements:
Maintain, inspect and monitor all ancillary buildings and equipment, including DI/Evaporator Building, Chiller Building, AC Shed, Legacy Boiler Room and Air Compressor Room. Boiler systems, including: (2) 238 HP Hurst mobile boilers and (2) 200 HP Hurst inside-unit boilers. Perform Daily Boiler operations such as start-up, monitoring, shutdown, blowdowns, pressure checks and leak inspections Chiller systems: monitor sensors, valves, pressures, flow systems, motors, piping, and chemical treatment systems Air Compressor systems:
SFC-75S, BSD-60, ASD -40S
compressors and TF340 air dryer; ensure airflow, pressure and filters DI water systems: Stilmas water Production skids, Pretreat skids, Teklon filters, UV systems, ozone generation/destruction systems Evaporator systems: monitor sensors, valves, pressures, feed pumps, blowers and perform scheduled cleanings Preventative maintenance across all systems Documentation with system logs Must become Forklift Certified (must have valid drivers license or clean driving record) Must be able to obtain PA Black Seal Boiler License within 180 days of employment (company training provided) Must be able to read and write English , do mathematical equations w/calculator, know electrical guidelines Must be able to work independently and under pressure Will need to work overtime as needed
