Furnace Operator Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining furnace equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality materials. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Furnace Operator will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our products. Responsibilities for the Furnace Operator Operate and monitor furnace equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of furnace operation parameters, temperature logs, and quality inspections for compliance and traceability. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on furnace systems. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise during operations. Conduct quality inspections of materials produced, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for production guidance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with assembly, fabrication, and tooling processes as needed.

Pay:

$16.00 SWING

SHIFT SWITCHING BETWEEN DAYS AND NIGHTS IF YOU START ON DAYS YOU WILL WORK 4 DAYS 7AM-7PM AND THEN OFF 4 DAYS AND WORK 4 DAYS 7PM-7AM.

Requirements Proven experience as a Furnace Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials when necessary.
