Job Description

Currently hiring Certified Combilift Operators for a long-term infrastructure project inside an active tunnel in Chesapeake. VA This is a 2-year long project with a reputable industrial contractor paying up to $40/hour. As a Certified Combilift Operator you are responsible for operating a multi-directional, 4 way steering in tight spaces for a pipefitting team and willingness to do other tasks as needed. Certified Combilift Operator Site Conditions — Read Before Applying This job operates inside a working tunnel. Once your crew departs each morning, you are on site for the full shift. There are no food trucks or nearby restaurants — bring your lunch. If this doesn't work for your lifestyle, this isn't the right fit. Combilift Operator Pay & Schedule Up to $40.00/hr Four 10s — Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days Fridays off (standard); occasional Friday OT possible but not guaranteed 6 AM daily start; transportation to the tunnel site provided Combilift Operator Journeyman level Pipefitters Qualifications Certified Combilift Operator (5+ years) experience required Provide Combilift Operator certification for verification Comfortable working in underground and enclosed environments Chin strap hard hat, Level 3 cut-resistant gloves, safety glasses required (standard PPE) Must pass drug screen and background check Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Combilift Operator Benefits Weekly W-2 pay via direct deposit Medical, dental, and vision insurance Referral program 401k
