Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a Chief Engineer in the Woodbridge, VA area. The Chief Engineer must possess strong building operations/systems knowledge and be available for after-hours emergency calls. Hours M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is seeking a Chief Engineer in Woodbridge, VA. The Chief Engineer must possess strong building operations/systems and be available for after-hours emergency calls. Hours M-F 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Salary $40-$45 based on experience Responsibilities to include: Perform diagnostics and repairs on building systems Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety system repairs Prepare work schedules Maintain records and prepare required reports Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis Prepare and issue solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and project tracking software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The Chief Engineer shall possess the following minimum qualifications: Universal CFC Demonstrate working knowledge of engineering and building systems BAS, cooling towers, WSHP, gas fired hot water boiler and hot water heater, fire alarm systems Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required Ability to read, review and understand blueprints Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills for detailed reporting EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
