A well-established, privately-owned metal stamping manufacturer in Central Arkansas is seeking an experienced Senior Tool & Die Maker to join their tool room team. This is a hands-on repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting role supporting progressive stamping dies — not a build-from-scratch position, since dies are built by a third-party partner. The ideal candidate brings deep tool & die expertise and enjoys mentoring less experienced toolmakers and apprentices as part of a growing department.

What You'll Do:

Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive stamping dies Read blueprints and interpret GD&T Support production and improve tooling performance Assist with tooling design improvements Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams Maintain tooling documentation Mentor and train apprentices and junior toolmakers

What You Bring:

Strong metal stamping tool & die experience (progressive die repair required) Solid blueprint reading and GD&T skills Excellent manual machining ability Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability and willingness to mentor others Automotive manufacturing background preferred IATF environment experience a plus Welding fixture or jig & fixture experience a plus
