Job Description
A well-established, privately-owned metal stamping manufacturer in Central Arkansas is seeking an experienced Senior Tool & Die Maker to join their tool room team. This is a hands-on repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting role supporting progressive stamping dies — not a build-from-scratch position, since dies are built by a third-party partner. The ideal candidate brings deep tool & die expertise and enjoys mentoring less experienced toolmakers and apprentices as part of a growing department.
What You'll Do:
Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive stamping dies Read blueprints and interpret GD&T Support production and improve tooling performance Assist with tooling design improvements Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams Maintain tooling documentation Mentor and train apprentices and junior toolmakersWhat You Bring:
Strong metal stamping tool & die experience (progressive die repair required) Solid blueprint reading and GD&T skills Excellent manual machining ability Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability and willingness to mentor others Automotive manufacturing background preferred IATF environment experience a plus Welding fixture or jig & fixture experience a plusWhy This Opportunity:
