$26.50
  • $31.50 per hour 1st and 2nd shift (7:00
  • 3:30pm OR 3:30pm

  • 3 years of related experience Experience in sheet-metal and/or HVAC Industry a Huge Plus Requires a demonstrated knowledge in areas of basic electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics Experience in designing and building tooling and fabricated metal devices Must possess verifiable experience in problem solving, project planning and implementation Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Tool and Die Machinist. Job Duties Design, build, and repair: Shop Tooling, Fabricated Fixtures, Test tooling, and fixtures; utilize blueprints and Design Sketches Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures Thorough knowledge of the strengths and properties of materials used Knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in an efficient manner Assist in training production workers in the safe and proper operation of shop tooling and fixtures Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
